“Thirteen cases of hemolytic uremic syndrome (SHU) due to infection with “Escherichia coli” type O26 have occurred in young children, since 21 March 2019, in several regions. According to the first results of the investigations, several of these children consumed Saint-Félicien and Saint Marcellin cheeses before the onset of their symptoms.”
